OUTCOME 1
Understand what is required for good practice in adult social care roles. 1.1 Identify standards that influence the way adult social care job roles are carried out.

2.3 Describe how feedback from others has developed own knowledge, skills and understanding.

During my previous career, it was a requirement that I be frequently observed teaching a class of Special Needs Students. Following this, the observer (usually a member of the senior management team) and I would sit down and discuss first how I felt the lesson had gone and then how they felt it had gone. This would be measured against certain criteria and certain elements would be jointly agreed as areas for development. I would then concentrate on these areas, studying and seeking advice on how to improve them for the next time.
In this way I feel I was able to progress as a professional and provide a better service.
