Promote Communication in Health and Social Care or Children’s and Young Peoples Settings
1.1 Identify the different Reasons People Communicate.
People communicate for many different reasons. The main and most important reason is for the exchange of information. If there was no communication we would never know what people were thinking or what they needed. When a child is hungry they use communication to let us know. When we get on a bus we need to use communication to let the driver know our destination.
