Abstract
Traveling industry is growing fast.For this reason,the hotel industry has became more and more popular in recent years.Many companies are trying to find some effective ways to improve the guest service in order to make their hotels more successful.Therefore,in the following paper,three most important factors which can make the hotel better will be mentioned.
Introduction
With the development of tourism nowdays,the hotel industry has grown fast in recent years.More and more companies focus on it in ordre to catch the opportunities.The recent statistic shows that Four Seasons Hotels was again named to Fortune Magazine’s “100 Best Companies to Work For” and it won this honor every year since the list which was created in 1998—a 15-year unbroken reputation.Another great example which should be mentioned here is the Joie de Vivre.It is a hotel management group that is located in San Francisco that was founded in 1987.It has managed to grow to 36 boutique hotel properties and became the second largest in 2010.When it opened in November 2008 with 117 rooms, it opened as good hotel and now people consider that it is a famous and successful hotel company in the world.However,according to these successful events,we should think that what factors could make the hotel company so successful and how could they develop their advantages?
For this reason, in the following paper,chapter two will introduce the importance of a winning work team as the first factor which makes a hotel successful and the next two chapters will illustrate two another possible factors.
The importance of a winning work team
A good company must have a wisdom leader,so the first factor that makes a hotel successful must be the people who work in the hotel.As we know,it’s difficult to run a hotel very well,so you really need a wisdom work team to make the hotel better.
Firstly,it’s so vital to provide a high quality service for the guests.For this reason,you need to pick up excellent people to offer the good service for representing the hotel’s reputation.The clerks in the hotel must pay attention to their service skills such as accomplishments,characteristics,politeness,etiquette,the good ability of communication,coordination and dealing with emergency.For example,the front desk is one of the aspects can represent a hotel’s reputation because guests will get the first impression of the hotel from the way how the clerks speak to them.The clerks must have a clear communication with the guests and they need patience to help the customers if the customers have some troubles.In addition,the traveling industry has developed a lot nowdays,people often travel to different countries,so the hotel must have clerks who can understand different kinds of language in order to talk with the foreign tourists.If the foreign travelers have an emergency and they can’t have a clear communication with the clerks or the clerks can’t feedback the impotant information,this situation will make them leave or put the hotel at risk.Moreover,the room’s comfort is also important for travelers,so the cleaners must clean and keep the room tidy on time and carefully in order to make sure the travelers can enjoy their time in the hotel.Also,the waiters and waitresses must figure out that guest is god,they must try their best to make guests comfortable and satisfied such as smile and greeting to the costumers or ensure them whether need help or not forwardly.
Second,the leaders are important for the organizations of a hotel.A winning team must have an excellent leader to ensure that every worker in the hotel does their jobs in their bests and plan the good
