Should abortion be illegal? This is a very controversial subject in today's society. Women believe there are many reasons to abort such as fear of having or raising a child, rape, or not having enough money. But whatever the situation, there is never an acceptable reason to get an abortion. Here are some reasons why abortion should be illegal: Adoption is another option, many women are endangered by it, birth control is another option, and it can also cause miscarriages if you have 2 or more.
The first reason why abortion should be illegal is because adoption is another option. Adoption is always brought up when people talk about aborting an unwanted child. There are tons of people who get rejected when they apply to adopt a child. However, most people who feel putting a child up for adoption is better than abortion. I strongly agree. Even though adoption is another option most people believe that when it is time to give it up for adoption it’s going to be harder , this may be true but I still believe that adoption is better than abortion because the baby Will still have a chance to live its life,
The second reason why is, many women are endangered by it. Not all abortions are handled in a manner that is both sanitary and done by a professional. Abortions can be very expensive and some women seek service wherever possible. Abortions run between $350 and $550.The third reason is birth control. Birth control is a method used to prevent pregnancy. Latex condoms are another thing they could have used to prevent an unplanned pregnancy. Although many people have the money to abort a child, they should still think twice about what they are doing. Also, yes, some people are on birth control and using condoms and an accident did truly happen they should not blame the baby for that slip up.
Finally, the last reason why abortion should be illegal is it can cause miscarriages if you have 2 or more. 46% of women who undergo an abortion have already had at least 1 previous
