A and B) At the place I live Irving, TX goes under the Dallas County. In the state house there are 115. The representative of the state house district 115 is Bennett Ratliff. In the senate district there are 16. The representative of state senate district 16 is John Carona.

C.) Yes there was a sign of gerrymandering because in the Dallas County itself there were a lot of Hispanics, African Americans, a decent population of Anglos, and Asians. In the district 115 African Americans had an upper hand in the population. In other parts in the Dallas district more Hispanics were targeted such as in El Paso, Austin, and few other cities.

A.) Bennett Ratliff is a republican that has been serving in the state house from January 8, 2013 and present.
B.) After John Carona served in the house for 6 years, he became a senate member in 1996 and from then has been present. He is currently running for the Republican Party.
