There are many different roles and responsibilities in construction, here are 10 examples that the company could interact with.

Architect - Architects work in construction and are involved with designing new buildings and extensions or advising on the development of old buildings. They can work on individual buildings or on large sites and can be responsible for the design of the surrounding landscape and spaces.

Engineers - engineers design, install and main the services in a new or existing building. These services include all equipment and materials involved with heating, lighting, ventilation, air-conditioning, electrical distribution, water supply, sanitation, public health, fire protection, safety systems, lifts, escalators, facade engineering and acoustics.

Surveyors- Building surveyors provide professional advice on all aspects of property and construction. They work on the design and development of new buildings

Electrical engineer -Electrical engineers design, develop and maintain electrical control systems and/or components to required specifications, focusing on economy, safety, reliability, quality and sustainability.

Health and safety adviser -A health and safety adviser offers expert knowledge and skills in order to generate and promote a positive health and safety culture. This represents a key role in helping control occupational risk.

Surveyor- Surveyor manages all costs relating to building and civil engineering projects, from the initial calculations to the final figures. Surveyors seek to minimise the costs of a project and enhance value for money, while still achieving the required standards and quality. Many of these are specified by statutory building regulations.

Site manager - site managers, often referred to as construction managers, site agents or building managers, are responsible for the day-to-day on site running of a construction project. Site
