To begin, the food was phenomenal and very fresh. The meats are always sliced to order and never pre-cut. Their bread is fresh baked every day and you get a selection of either white or wheat. In addition, the flavors of their foods explode in your mouth. The meats are cooked by real hickory wood and real smoke. To add, their meats are cooked for 16-18 hours which makes the meat melt in your mouth. If people like to spice up their food, they have a wide selection of homemade sauces and other companies’ sauces that are delicious. Upon making the sub sandwich, they steam the meats and cheeses, releasing a rush of flavors. Also, they pack the sandwich with meat and the serving sizes are always satisfying.
In addition to the food being outstanding the quality of service is also exceptional. The staff is exceptionally friendly. As soon as customers walk in the door, the staff greets them instead of just one or two of the staff. The staff also has an excellent work pace. They do their best to make your sandwich and as fast as possible. In most cases, the food will usually be done in right around ten minutes. In addition, the staff is also very energetic and has a great work ethic. I have been into Firehouse Subs on many occasions and have yet to see any employees just standing around.
