To achieve Greatness

I was watching a documentary about Muhammad Ali and it was about his life and struggles leading up to now, but during the segment where he said the famous “I am greatest!” line inspired me for that to be my topic. I believe in the greatness that is obtained through optimism, gratitude, and a strong will. I believe in looking at things glass half full. Yet such a thing isn’t naturally applied, and it must be searched for.
Some of the hardest things for everyone to get by is grief, guilt, sorrow. It’s really that heavy feeling of sorrow and sadness that sits upon our life that kills our hearts and makes something so simple seem near impossible. These are the hardest feelings to overcome, and the hardest situation to ignore, through learning this I learned that greatness may only be achieved through the acceptance of the things you cannot change; without this you are stuck in the past. Yet to truly accept this fact, you must be grateful for what you already have. The way I see it, if you believe that your life is already great. then it will be what you believe it is.
