Nourishment, or aliment, is the foods required by organisms and cells to stay alive.
Nutrition is the practice of consuming the appropriate foods. Nutrition also focuses on how diseases, conditions and problems can be prevented or stabilized with a healthy diet.
Nutrition involves identifying how certain diseases, condition or problems maybe caused by dietary factors, such as poor diet. Fruits, nuts, and vegetables play a significant role in human nutrition especially when it comes to the vitamins subject.
Vitamins have been strongly recommended by any doctor to reduce risk of cancer, heart disease, stroke etc.
I always remember this quote “ You are what you eat”. The foods you eat provide the energy your body needs to function right. If you eat a chocolate donut for example, this contains a great amount of sugar and calories, if you eat too many of them you will take in extra calories that will be stored as fat and this is not very beneficial to you since it doesn’t provide any vitamins or minerals.
Your body cannot be as strong as its potential when you eat unhealthy foods. Having the right diet makes you have strong muscles, bones and a very solid immune system.
