A healthy nutritional diet is a personal lifestyle choice. The body ingests, and absorbs various foods that help to create a healthy digestive system. Nutrition is the
DRIs (Dietary Reference Intakes) provide information for vitamins, minerals, and other important nutrients that are essential to a person’s good health. DRIs also provide information on how much nutrients a person should consume on a daily basis pending they are following the American and Canadian diets. Much like RDA, DRIs also differs in male and female. It differs in age, gender, and reproductive status. |

9. The United States Department of Agriculture created a diagram titled My Plate. What is this diagram? Why should someone study this diagram? | The United States Department of Agriculture created a diagram called “MyPlate”. It was designed to replace the old food pyramid that everyone is used to seeing. The diagram simplifies what a well-balanced meal should look like every night. If people would actually follow this diagram it would differ and take away from the standard American diet that people follow today. The MyPlate diagram also detours people from eating big proportions and eat more healthy proportionate sizes. |
