When thinking about my dream job and the company that I would be interested in being employed by in the future, I look at several criteria. One would be what experience will I gain from working at this particular company? Will the experience that I gain from this company benefit me and even in the near future in other jobs? With these questions in mind, the company I selected is Computer Sciences Corporation or also known as CSC. The reason why I would enjoy being part of this company is that CSC is an American multinational corporation that provides information technology (IT) services as well as professional services (Computer Sciences Corporation, 2014). According to the Computer Sciences Corporation (2014) website, they are celebrating 55 years of providing innovation in Information Technology since April of 1959.
According to Kelly and Williams (2014), ethics is “a set of beliefs about right and wrong, good and bad” (p. 327). CSC is very strong driven when it comes to establishing on what they see their company as on ethical behavior in striving to meet the highest of all standards.
As stated by the CSC Governance: Committed to ethics and accountability states (2014), CSC commits to being accountable for their actions, dealing honestly with others and ensuring integrity across their global business. In all CSC does, they never forget that high ethical standards are as critical to their future as the capacity to deliver innovation and value. By keeping the promises they make to their shareholders, clients, employees, partners and other stakeholders, CSC creates a strong foundation for market leadership and business success over the long term.
CSC is a corporation, which Kelly and Williams (2014) defined as “a form of business ownership in which the business is considered a legal entity that is separate and distinct from its owners” (p. 325).
Computer Science Corporation’s vision or mission is to be a global leader in providing technology-enabled business solutions and services. CSC is very determined to make sure that their values are very clear by the following five ways:

The second one is Leadership CSC leads from the front, displaying integrity and using facts to support their straight talk. CSC is an extremely driven company that strives to be the best on a global standpoint and they make sure they are located where clients need them. Just to give you an idea on how global they really are CSC reports, “In addition to their headquarters in Falls Church, Virginia, USA, and three other major offices in Australia, Asia, and Europe, CSC’s 80,000 professionals serve clients in more than 70 countries” (CSC, 2014).
Leadership is an integral part of CSC’s values, which consist of displaying integrity and using facts to support their straight talk. In addition, CSC’s leadership style creates a certain type of atmosphere and environment for positive change built on collaboration and trust. CSC uses various ways of recruiting their employees by holding job fairs at several different universities and having a careers link where job openings can be viewed in all areas.
