Chocolate
“Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re going to get” (Forrest Gump). This is a very true quote because chocolate can relate to a person’s life in many ways. Chocolate may be just a sweet treat that can come in many different varieties, but to some people it can symbolize different things in their life’s. There can be many different flavors of chocolate. There is dark, milk, and white chocolate. They all have a different meaning and purpose that go along with them. People can like one more than the other and some even have health benefits.
The one many people favor is milk chocolate. The obvious reason it is called that is because the main ingredient is milk, which is what makes it so creamy. It’s sweeter and tastes much better than the rest of them. This flavor of chocolate is most commonly used all around the world.
Another flavor that chocolate can come in is dark chocolate. This is not a very commonly used type of flavor, but many seem to like. One of the main reasons for that is, because it has a bitter taste and most people would rather their chocolate be a sweet treat. It’s also used for its health benefits. This is one of the acquired taste that one gets over the years; older people tend to eat this flavor a lot.
White chocolate is a decadent flavor that is used for special occasions. It is creamier and a tad bit sweeter than the milk chocolate. It is commonly used at Weddings and Easter. It represents elegance and beauty. Chocolate has many different interesting things that it can be symbolized as. Some of these symbols are love, sympathy, and friendship. These are the reasons why people give others this gift of deliciousness. Love is one of the biggest reasons that people use chocolate in the first place. People always say that chocolate is an aphrodisiac, which is why it makes people fall in love. It is used as a gift to show another person how much they love the other person. It is also used as a sympathy gift to make another person feel better and happier. It is used this way usually to give to another girl, because after a girl goes through a big break up then what she wants is something sweet that will make her feel better. That is one of the many ways that it can be used as a sympathy gift. Friendship is one of the last ways to symbolize chocolate. It can bring two friends close by representing their friendship and how much they care for each other. It can just be a normal friendship; it doesn’t have to involve ones love for the other. This is not a very common way that chocolate is used, but it can be used this way. The way that chocolate comes about is a time consuming, but worthwhile task.
