Creativity is exploring thoughts or ideas that are new or different in some way from previous thoughts and ideas. Exploring thoughts and ideas can be expressed by people in many ways. It can be expressed through drawing, writing, singing, or even doing something. Creativity is different to everyone, but everyone is creative in their own ways. Sometimes, in order to be creative, you need to think outside of the box and begin to think of something that is new and different than what is normally out there.
There are different reasons that I am inspired to create. One thing that inspires me to create is the aspiration to make something new. It feels good when I know that I came up with something first, before anyone else ever did. I usually like to be creative when I am around my friends. I like to be funny around them and create new jokes for them to laugh at. I enjoy the feeling when they laugh at jokes that I come up with. I feel a sense of accomplishment by creatively coming up with something new for my friends and others to laugh at. Sometimes, I am inspired to create when I am bored. When I do not have anything to do, I sometimes will think creatively about what new things I could do. Whether it is thinking of new things to look up online, rearranging furniture, or just drawing something fun, I am using some creativity to do those simple activities. Creating can also be something that I am forced to do. School assignments sometimes ask for me to think creatively while doing the homework. Although I may not feel an urge to create, I am still pushed towards thinking creatively while doing my homework.
Creativity is important because it gets people to think and learn for themselves. Being creative opens the door for new and different things. It is not just important for the individual person; it is also good for society as a whole. Creativity is what has brought us what we have today. It has brought technology, art, great ideas, and almost everything that surrounds us. Creativity will continue to be used by everyone and will continue to inspire new ideas
