Values are defined as an influence on a person behaviors or attitude and serve a broad guideline in different situation. When you know your value that shows that you discover what is truly important to you. In this paper I will address the following concept of values that is identifying the core value next describing how people acquire and change values. Explain what values do to and to us, lastly given the nature and importance of human values in the workplace.
Core Value Core value is a belief of a person or organization. This helps people to know right from wrong and to help them get on the right path. As for me my core value is my family and maintains a health work/life balance. I believe that parent try to give positive core values in children and that is what I learned from my parents and is trying to give it to my family as well. My job and life another because without the strength that I have I wouldn’t be able to provide for my family the way I do. I’m the backbone to keep my family together and I strive for what I want and need to make a better life so we can live. To me there is a different when you live for others and not for yourself and that is where I want to be.
How values change Each values of us holds and is influences by difference values. This is something we are not born with. But we hold each of them differently this goes to show how values are shaped throughout our lives over the past years. Over time we usually are likely to strengthen our values as we get older understanding what they really mean and what we need to accomplish as we live life. Our lives give opportunities for growth. When we are young as kids we watch TV and absorb everything around that comes from different things especially from our parents that raise us. Then we start to actually copy people to see what it is like or how it feels. Then we start to be influence from people we hang around such as our family members and friends somebody we want to be like or see something in them that we admirer who are like you that is how to values tend to change.
