Communication (from Latin "communis", meaning to share) is the activity of conveying information through the exchange of thoughts, messages, or information, as by speech, visuals, signals, writing, or behavior. Communication “is a fundamental aspect of all human relationships” and is an essential element of good care. Communication involves the sender (a care worker) and the receiver (a service user).
