Mother Teresa once said “If a mother can kill her own child - what is left for me to kill you and you to kill me - there is nothing between.” Abortion is the termination of a pregnancy by the removal or expulsion of an embryo or fetus from the uterus, resulting in or caused by its death. Abortion has become a common practice among women nowadays. Since a sexual relation has lost its meaning, unmarried couples are practicing it as well causing unwanted pregnancies. Other causes, such as rape, have led to surprising pregnancies that would lead to abortions. Abortion is considered as a sinful thing in different point of views, including religion. Still, abortion should be considered sometimes since there are downsides to wanted or unwanted pregnancies. Overall, abortion should be prohibited for religious reason and for it sometimes
On one hand, it should be banned because it is considered as a sin by almost every religion there is. Another reason for it to be prohibited is because it can affect the carrier psychologically from depression to feeling guilty and it would affect her physically since she might lose a lot of blood. On the other hand, abortion might save the carrier’s life since she might be in danger during pregnancy or maybe since she didn’t plan to get pregnant at all because she might have been raped. The law in all countries should have a place for prohibiting abortion still accept it depending on the conditions.
