The Last Song is a love story written and inspired by Nicholas Sparks. This fiction book has 390 pages filled of drama and romance. It shows relationships that were ruined become close and the beginning of new relationships being built. It all starts with a girl named Ronnie and her younger brother Jonah being sent off to their dads for the entire summer after not speaking to him for the past three years. This brings drama and conflicts into everyone’s lives and starts making Ronnie become rebellious.

Seventeen year old Ronnie has been stubborn and rebellious ever since her parents divorced three years ago. Ronnie and Jonah have been sent off to their dads house for the summer when they haven’t even talked to their dad since the divorce. Ronnie kept a bad attitude and negative outlook on being stuck with her dad. She spent most of her time out of the house and away from her dad so she would not have to talk to him or have anything to do with him. She would go out on the beach, go to parties and stay out late just to annoy her dad.

As time went on she would talk to her dad for a little bit but not fully engage in a conversation and slowly started to build a relationship with him. As she became closer with her dad she found out more about him she learned that he still wrote music and that he was blamed for his church being burned down a couple months ago and people thought that he was a bad guy. Ronnie believed her dad that he didn’t burn it down and they became really close and she started appreciating him more and more each day. While Ronnie is at her dads all summer she meets a beach boy named Will who she did not care for at all when she first met him. She later on fell deeply in love with Will and ended up spending most of her time
