I believe that the American Dream is being the best you can be by doing your best at what you do. To succeed to your full potential, no matter what race, culture or class you are. To be able to achieve your goals with the opportunities given to you. By getting an education, working hard for what you want to accomplish and getting to the top is the greatest feeling because you know you earned it. To know you achieved the American Dream, you also know you have achieved the American nightmare, by putting in the hard work and effort to being able to get where you are now.

The photographs I have represented here are The Statue of Liberty, The United States Flag, Martin Luther King Jr., The World Trade Center and the Famous picture of kissing the war goodbye. I think these pictures are very important to America. The Statue of Liberty represents many things, the friendship between nations and freedom from oppression. The United States flag stands for freedom and democracy. It represents the unity of America, our common cause, and the hope for a better tomorrow. Martin Luther King Jr. had a inspirational speech "I Have a Dream." It was about how black people were free, but they wouldn't be truly free until they had equal rights.
