Is’ American Dream” is still a possible reality?
The American dream is alive. American dream can be define in so many ways depending on the perspective of an individual. My own point of view is that American dream is alive. To me the American Dream is the ever hopeful future. Something to keep loving and trying for. The American dream is achieved when hard work comes back to you as an achievement and success. Jenifer Lopez in her article. Hard work is when someone is zealous, ambitious and putting all your heart in whatever you are doing, putting in an extra hours. It is when hard work turns out successful that you were able to have all you want, then such individual says I achieve my living an American dream life.
Hard work does not always turn out successful, but it is important to work hard by putting more effort,extra hours in other to achieve your goal .Family’s that work hard for living but believe American dream is far away from them will get there one day if they do not relent in hard work, looking forward to get to their goal in life. Putting in a hard work in anything that you do only makes American dream come through when it turns out to be successful. Success in the term of achieving your goal getting a good job with good salary, getting to the higher position you wanted at your job by working hard in your job assignments.
The economy plays a big role in living the American dream. The financial breakdown in the 2007-2008 affected the people of America hope of living there dream. Having a home in a better neighborhood home ,a flashy expensive car, good health care , eat out twice a week in a nice restaurant. This is all restricted to a certain people in America. A family of four with total income of $150,000 cannot afford all this dream, it can be sure to have a roof under your head but what of all other good stuff attach to the dream. When the economy crises hit in the 2007-2008. I lost my home to the economy crisis because my family has only one income with all my hard work to live the American dream.
