Most females are having children before they are ready. Not only are most mothers too young, some just simply do not know how to raise a child. To be allowed to have full custody of their child, mothers should have to take classes on development and parenting. States require that we have a license to drive or to get married. Why should we not need a license to take care of a child? Taking care of a child is known as one of the most important jobs in the world. Yet raising a child is not well thought out in this world. In today’s generation we have more pregnancies before 20 then any other generation in the past. “About 820,000 teens become pregnant each year. That means that 34 percent of teenagers have at least one pregnancy before they turn 20” (TeenHelp 1). If they fail to obtain the license, their child shall be put up for adoption to a family that has the capabilities of taking care of them. However, parents should have the opportunity to get them back upon completion of accurate training. There are parents that have children and raise them irresponsibly, it affects society and most of all it affects the children’s lives. Due to the lifestyle most children are raised having more control over their parents and less control over their own behavior. Children know how to manipulate their parents into getting what they want. Today’s society is all about technology, which hurts the household because there is not any family time in the household. To be able to afford the utility bills, clothing, food, vehicles, gas to power those vehicles, and housing it usually takes both parents to work
