Emotional growth and the acquisition of social skills are assessed by watching children interact with others in everyday situations. When children acquire speech, the understanding of their emotional state becomes much more accurate upon observation She also insist on trying to do many things by herself like dressing up, this demos tract her self-help skills. The book talk self-help skills children wanting to help themselves do stuff (309). She will want to pick out her own clothes and will become more vocal about what she want, likes and dislikes. According to our book in this child demonstrate strong socio emotional skills at this stage
Upon observation she explores the world around her, Imitates behaviors, very helpful, (wants to help sometimes with bringing her mother’s shoes, when she noticed she want to go out )this correlates with what the book talks about their ability to be more helpful 364
Upon observation she recognizes feelings when emotions are labeled by adult. For example, one day she was very upset because her brother would not share a toy with her, when her mother says, ‘I know you feel angry about that ,and told her to come sit and play with her cell phone, which she promptly did She also understand and use language related to emotions, and begin to label feelings she recognizes in herself and others. For example, she say, ‘Mummy happy now’ .this correlates with what the book says in page (367) about emotions.
