Roby, (2011) do a research to find out the impact of teacher leadership on the school culture. In his literature reviews, he has discovered that there is a strong correlation between some aspect of school culture and students academic achievement. A sense of community is the key to cultivate the sense of excellent in school. Roby do not state his research problem and research question visibly. He chooses qualitative methodology in his research, which requires clear determination of research questions or hypotheses. Even though he use School Culture Review as an assessment survey that based on the key elements of influencing school culture, but the total sample are not validate because there are total population mention to validate sample.
However, the distribution of participants is not fair, which less than ten years experience are majority of participant (160 participants). The result shows that there are no significant different within the year of teaching experiences in the school is not valid. It shows that teacher experiences in teaching are not relevant to the influence of teacher leader in affecting school culture does not have validity. Moreover, he does not elaborate how the data collect and analyze in his research. At the result, the researcher only does mention that there are established community norms in the school climate, which worthwhile, respectable relations and activities at the workplace base on percentage. Therefore, he discovers that teacher isolation is the key concern, follow by opportunities for informal leadership, trust, relationship, support, and climate of physical plant. Marcoulides,et.al have select a validate numbers of sample that is more than thirty percent from the entire population (31%) and fairly descriptive background data use. Moreover, the researchers do a reliability check on the model and result show that the model fit to the data. Nevertheless, Roby, (2011) and Marcoulides,et.al (2005) have same weakness that they do not state problem statement, and research question or hypotheses clearly. However, both research findings reflect and relevant to their own title. Marcoulides have done earlier research to examine productivity in for-profit product and service organization with Heck (Heck & Marcoulides, 1996). He has done a test on the model that some important perceptional aspects of organizational culture has different impact on the organizational productivity. Then he furthers his study on this research to fit the school environment. He has further examined the model but he is more focusing on measurement aspect of the schools’ academic and social process, which affects the students’ achievement. Moreover, he interest to further research because less researches have done on students’ perception, values, and
