Rabbit Proof fence Review

About:
The Rabbit-Proof Fence is an Australian drama film that is based on the book “Follow the Rabbit-Proof Fence.”It is based on a true story about Doris Pilkington’s mother, as well as two other mixed-race Aboriginal girls, who ran away from the Moore River Settlement in Western Australia, to return to their families. The film follows the three girls as they walk for nine weeks along 2,400 km of the Australian rabbit-proof fence to return to their home of Jigalong, while being chased by an Aboriginal tracker. Sadly one of the three children didn’t make it home, instead she was caught by the tracker.
Main event one and how it affected the story and a character:
The girls being taken from their homes affected them and the story in a huge way. It affected the girls as they were all below the age of 15, they had to rely of each other to stay alive and get themselves back on the right track, which would soon take them home. They all loved their family members dearly and being away from them was almost unbearable for the three of the children. It gets the story off to an immediate start and captures your interest.
Main event two and how it affected the story and a character:
The girls running away from the Moore River settlement affected the girls greatly, for both good and for bad. They lost their sister along the way, but without taking the courage to escape they would have never of seen their parents ever again nor would they have ever had back their freedom. This event put a plot twist on the story, when you see them getting taken, you think that’s the end of them, that they don’t have a chance and they are just going to be another one of the children stuck
