My name is Natasha Franklin I was born in Auburn, Washington State. I was born at 11:59am in St.Francis hospital. I was then brought to Arizona when I was only six months old by bus. I was then given a blessing by our pastor from the church. When I was four years old when I was diagnosed with a dislocated hip and the doctor gave my mom three options one to have surgery to fix it, two, pop it back in place, or three leave it alone. My mom then chose to have surgery and the operation was done when I was five years old. I was then in a wheelchair for six months and then on crutches. In 2008 my family and I found out that one leg was longer than the other. I was then given two options and I chose to have another surgery in 2011. I was twelve years old when I had the surgery to make my leg shorter. In 2012 I was diagnosed with asthma and that change my life expectation on what I wanted to do in my life I then came up to challenge my self and so far I am succeeding in it. I have challenged my self to play as many sports as I can in high school because sports keep me motivated to keep my grades up and passing. I don’t think that there is a time in my life that I can’t say I never wanted to be involved in. I have been bullied and made fun of since I was able to go to school because my parents were poor and it has made me think about what I can do for others and bullying. I have helped others come to stand up for them selves and bullies think to them selves. It has come to me that I don’t like to see others sad or depressed so I took in and I made it to where if I see a sad person to cheer them up and make them happy again. When I grow up I want to be a P.E teacher because physical health is important to keep healthy. I never would have thought I would have made such an impact to make this my goal but now I have. I have always been the person to think about others before myself I was told to put myself before others though so that comes to me as a strange thing. I met my best friend in grade school and he and I talk every day after school and Skype on the weekends because he lives in Safford and that is where I am going for my fall break and I can’t wait. I will be staying at my favorite grandmother house because I will be visiting my family that I haven’t seen in a long time. My grandma is my favorite person in my family because when I was a little girl my mom couldn’t take care of me because she was too busy for us so our grandma took care of my siblings and I. My grandma is the most important person in my life and I will be so sad to see her leave when her time
