Mission Possible The alarm rang. It was 5:00 am. The situation that I had been for 5 minutes is hard to describe. Half asleep and half awake. For the first few seconds I had no idea what was making that unbearable, non-stopping sound. Therefore, to bring the peace and calmness that had existed in my room few seconds ago, I woke up. And at that moment, I realized the previous night’s challenge that I had made to myself – to wake up before the sunrise and JOG. Waking up early to jog is a daily activity for millions of people around the world. However, I had never dared myself to do it in my entire 18 years of life. The reason is simple – I am lazy. Moreover, it was clear to me that it wasn’t going to be an easy task, but I knew that if I tried my best, I would overcome my insatiable desire to sleep. Ten minutes after the alarm, I got up and went to shower. Later, I made myself a strong cup of coffee, but this time it was extremely strong. Furthermore, I geared up and drove to the beach. When I parked my car and got out, the morning air felt fresh like a freshly brewed cup of Americano. I took a deep breath, plugged my earphones, started my favorite playlist and continued the challenge. As I started running, I felt myself like a five year old kid, who had just learned running. Honestly, it was embarrassing. But gradually, my whole body started to warm up and I felt as I was the “Flash”. I must say that I never knew that my legs could move as if they were two new Lamborghini engines. It was one of the extraordinary experiences that I ever had. Later, I took a few minute rest to see the sunrise and to drink a bottle of water. That moment, I was acquainted with the beauty and calmness of Santa Monica beach. The relaxing sound of the ocean waves, slightly cold breeze that cooled off my body, and the indescribably beautiful scenery of the beach had left peace in my mind and took away all the stress and pressure off of my body. Afterwards, I jogged a little longer and headed back to my car. On my way back, the IPod started to play the song “How do you like me now” by The Heavy, like my music player wanted to give me some credit
