While studying in third year of engineering, I gave presentation on “Predictive Maintenance by using thermal imaging”. During my final year of engineering I completed my final year project work on “Reduction in the breakdown of XUV5oo transaxle machine shop” which is sponsored by ‘Mahindra Vehicle Manufacturers Ltd., Pune’. Firstly we analyze the breakdown in XUV5oo Transaxle machine shop by using Quality Tools such as Pareto Charts, Ishikawa diagram. Then found the most hampering breakdown. Followed by finding various causes related to that breakdown by using Ishikawa diagram. After that we successfully minimized that causes of breakdown. Working in this project introduced me to the real world applications of engineering, which augmented my knowledge about the different mechanical concepts. My work was highly appreciated by sponsored company, all the faculties of our department as well as the external examiner and awarded me highest grade among the students of my
