Title:
Measurement of Length
Hypothesis:
If one measures the length with and height of the blocks, they can calculate the volume of each block. If one measure the thickness of a certain number of papers, they can calculate the thickness of each paper.
Materials:
Metric ruler, 2 blocks, note book, text book, calculator
Procedure:
First I measured the length, width, and height of the first block. After recording each measurement I calculated the volume of the block. Next Jake measured the length, width, and height of the second block. He then recorded the measurements and calculated the volume of his block. Next, Jake and I measured my note book to calculate the volume of it. After completing that task, we measured the thickness of 50, 75, and 100 sheets of paper. Jake did the first one, and I did the second two. Next we calculated to find the thickness of one sheet of paper.

Solving the Problem:
Only two of the measurements support that all sheets of paper are equal in thickness. This may have been because Jake reads measurements different then I do so the reading was off.
