A group of researchers are studying the rural area of Erath County while focusing on the

safety services being provided for the area. One article that was examined was the need to teach

online safety to children. The article included what age group of children was at the highest risk

of online danger, along with who should teach the online safety. The article surveyed children,

parents, teachers, and clinicians with in the area to test their answers to which they believed

would be the most appropriate position to teach these children. It was concluded that parents

should be the primary response as to who should teach the online safety, however there was a

concern that the parent may not have all of the proper resources to teach the etiquette. The article

related closely to the topic area of safety needs of Erath County that the researchers were looking

for. The article showed how to scale the proper people with in a certain population to keep the

results fair. It did so by providing a paper questionnaire as to which all of the questions must be

answered. The type of this research was closely related to that of the researchers of Erath

County. Also, it could give a prejudgment of what the researchers of Erath County may find in

their results as to what the community needs for safety. It is very possible that the researchers of

Erath County find the communities thriving for more resources to help protect their children

handle online safety and who to appoint to be the teacher.
