How to do Repairs

Objective:
The rationale for doing repairs entails integrating math and writing.
Writing is a powerful reinforcement tool for making one’s mathematical ideas clear and precise.
Writing displays the understanding acquired through thinking and working out math problems

How to:
You are to write the mathematical ideas that allowed you to correct the problem. This means that you must reflect on the actual thoughts and intellectual processes that went through your mind as you figured out how to do a problem correctly; these thoughts and ideas are then placed next to your quiz question in clear, concise and mathematically correct sentences and/or phrases.
All of the math-steps to do the problem correctly must be written down. The problem must be done over again on the correction space using the appropriate algebra, algorithms and properties necessary.

IMPORTANT NOT-TO-Dos
Do not write negative things on repairs. Do not iterate what you did wrong in the problem. This nullifies the benefits of this exercise in thinking and writing.
Do not write excuses. This is simply an impractical thing to do. It does not matter why you got the problem wrong.
WHAT MATTERS IS THE REINFORCING OF CORRECT MATH IDEAS IN YOUR MIND THROUGH EXPRESSING THE RIGHT UNDERSTANDING OF HOW TO APPLY THE MATHEMATICS TO THE PROBLEM
