To the family that mourns,

I am writing this to apologize; fore I am at fault for Romeo & Juliet’s death. The brutal mistakes I have made cannot be taken back, and I need to get this off my back. I secretly married Romeo and Juliet, knowing that Romeo was only seeking quick love. This was extremely inappropriate for me to do and I’ve never felt so much regret. I also gave Juliet the sleeping potion, so she would be “Dead” for 24 hours. I was trying to tell Romeo that it was just for 24 hours, but he thought that she was actually dead, so he drank poison and died. Juliet couldn’t live knowing that he died for her, so she killed herself as well.

When I married Romeo and Juliet, I was caught up in the moment, and I thought they were perfect for each other. Romeo was also so eager, but I did not realize the horrible repercussions that would come of it. Although I felt that marrying them could possibly end the feud between your families, because it would show that Romeo is actually an innocent, kind young man if Juliet loves him. If it did work then Romeo wouldn’t be banned from Verona, and Romeo said he would rather die than to be banned from the place that he loves, so I wanted to save him.
