Journals will be graded after class on Friday. You should work on each journal during the first 15 minutes of class on they day they are assigned. If you need more time, you can work during study hall or IIT. Each journal entry must be a minimum of 10 sentences in length. 6/30 - Imagine you had a hundred dollars, but you couldn't keep it. You had to give it away to a person or charity. Who would you give it to? What would you want them to do with it?
If I had a Hundred dollars and I couldn’t keep I would give it to my mom. I would give it to her because no matter what she does with it I’m most likely going to benefit from it. Giving the money to my mom would help everyone in the house not only me. She could use the money to take us out to dinner, or use the money to help pay for a new car. No matter what she does with the money It will help me and my family. That is why I would give it to my mom.
7/1 - Describe one time when you were brave. One time I was at Kings Dominion when I was eight with my Mom, Dad, Brother, and sister. We were getting ready to leave when we noticed my sister was missing. So without hesitation I leaped out the car and looked for her. I eventually found her in the line for the Scooby doo ride. She said she didn’t want to leave so we waited rode the ride. Then ran back to the car. Once we got there Mom and Dad where not there so we got are brother and ran back in. We rode six rides and then we eventually found them. Once we did the picked us up and walked us to the car. The second we all got into the car they started yelling at us.
7/2 - If you could cook any meal for your family, what would you cook? Describe the meal and tell how you would make it. If I could cook any meal for my family I would cook Lamb. One reason I would cook lamb is because I never had it before and I think it would be cool to try it. Another reason I would pick lamb is because it not a regular family dinner. I would also make mash potatoes and green beans to go with it. I would cook the lamb by over roasting it and season it with salt and pepper. I would also make lemonade. For dessert I would make glazed carrot cake.
