Events Industry: An Introduction

1. I have research a book that is called Managing of event Operation giving an experts definition of events the author is called shone and parry and it was published in 2004.
In the event industry, theme traders is a vertically integrated uk-based art, design and production company, costumes specializing in creative parties, themed events, road shows and motivational events. Its vertical integration within the industry comes from its own services and production props, costumes and equipment. Each of these affiliated services can be hired separately to clients if wanted.

2. Life Cycle Event: one event I am identifying is from a life cycle event which is a Birthday Party. The 4 components that will contribute from this event is the person whose birthday it is as it is their own party so they will need to be there, birthday cake so the person can cut the cake, birthday presents so the birthday person can open them and the guests will need to be there as it’s a party.

Cultural Event: Another event I am going to identify is a music festival. The 4 components that will contribute to a music festival is the band because you need a band there for a music festival, the music because it won’t be a music event without music, the security officers and the fans that will attend the festival because won’t raise money without guests
