Introduction-
No matter the location or color of skin women have the same duties all aroud the world. Although the obligations of a woman may be carried out somewhat differently depending on the age or religion , the end result should be the same. Women weave their passion threw their family securly attaching them to the nessisites of life. Making sure that everyones needs in the immediate as well as extended family are taken care if the induvidual situationa allows. Women support their men and families.
Oepidus rex- Jocasta role was to be the wife of king Laius. Which meant she was also to serve the people as queen. Then bare a child they named Oedipus. Soon after birth they, gave him away to be killed. Jocasta had good intentions when making this decision although she did not fully consider everyones mental physical, and emotional health when making this decison. Since he survived when he was suppoed to be killed, he unknowingly kills his father and marrys his mother as an adult. Jocasta is also the sister of Creon. Jocasta carrys out the same roles as other women except he son and husband are one in the same. She takes care of the children making sure they are properly nurtured for. As for her husband she is his back bone and purpose. She keeps him grounded and encourages him to do the right thing. "Oedipus, for the sake of the gods, trust him in this. Respect that oath he made before all heaven— do it for my sake and for those around you." In this instance Jocasta is trying to bring him into the light and allow him to see that is was not her brother who committed the murder of her first husband, the previous king. There fore there is no reason Creon should be banished him from the
