Starving but obese

To maintain a healthy weight and to feel full, you have to eat the correct amount of each of the nutrients and vitamins that your body needs to function. There are 5 groups in the Basic Food Group that include vegetables, fruits, grains, dairy, and protein. It is very important to get a healthy balance of each in your regular diet. You should also make sure that you are consuming enough water in your diet. Drinking water keeps your body temperature at a normal range, lubricates your joints, flushes your system through urination, and rehydrates your body. Dietary Fats are another important source to be aware of. You can get this through oils, butter, and some solid fats. It is always best to try to replace solid fats with liquid fats when you can though. Carbohydrates give you energy to fuel your body. You can find Carbohydrates in fruits, vegetables, bread, milk, and foods that contain sugar. Proteins are our meat products that we consume and they are another important part of a healthy diet. Some proteins include meats, dry beans, tofu, eggs, nuts, milk, and some grains, vegetables, and fruits. The last of the process to eating healthy would include vitamins and minerals. Vitamins and minerals are made by plants or animals. We absorb vitamins and minerals from the plants we eat. Food Groups, Water, Dietary Fats, Carbohydrates, Proteins, and Vitamins and minerals all pave the way to a healthy and balanced weight.
According to the CDC, about one out of three Americans are obese. In my opinion, the reason that there are so many Americans starving and obese is because of the way we eat. If we eat foods that are
