Democrat Party The political party is a organization to gain power, their candidates often face financial difficulties do to the voting percentage. A set of beliefs that affect our outlook on the world is ideology. Religion is one type of ideology, and religious belief affects a person's view. One of the two major contemporary political parties in the U.S. along with the Republican Party. Democrat is also the oldest political organization in the world. The purpose of this paper is to inform the reader about the Democrat Party.

The basis of the Democratic Party is liberal and is considered center-left in the political spectrum. Center-left is defined as a political term that characterizes individuals, political parties or organizations whose ideology rests between the center and the left on the political spectrum. Democrats believe in rights of the individual citizen. These rights include life, liberty, security, equality of opportunity, justice, privacy, and private ownership of property. Democrats believe that each American citizen should have the right to all of the above things without interference from other citizens or the government. Democratic beliefs also honor the freedoms of the individual freedom to worship as he or she may choose, freedom of thought, freedom of conscience, freedom of assembly, freedom of inquiry, freedom of expression, and freedom to participate in the political process.

The Democratic Party goes all the way back to Jefferson, Madison, and Monroe, (anti-federalist). The name democrat wasn't given until 1828 election of Andrew Jackson when the party became known with a growing populist movement in the young nation. Before it was known as democratic party is was democratic-republican party, before that it was republican party. Since Jackson there have been 15 democratic presidents. Era of Good Feelings Marked a period that he reflected a sense of national purpose and a desire for unity at the war of 1812. It was induced by a llul in partisan politics between the Federalists and Democratic-Republicans. The concept for representing different political stances in relation to one another is political spectrum. Democratic stances include the following abortions, gun control, health care, energy & oil, war & peace, and free trade. With abortions women should have the right to choose rather or not they are ready to be a mother. Nobody knows what that person is going through, nor how that persons finance is sat up. We stand proudly for a woman’s right to choose. Abortion should be safe, legal, and rare. I honestly think it's a good idea to, offer individuals and businesses tax credits to make quality, reliable health coverage more affordable.
