The second President of the United States John Adams once said, “Government is instituted for the common good; for the protection, safety, prosperity, and happiness of the people; not for the profit, honor, or private interest of anyone man, family, or class of men”. Each political party has their own philosophy and how they address issues here in the United States. The republicans value responsibility; individuals are responsible of their own being in society. Government lets individuals protect the advantages of society for themselves, for their loved ones and for the ones that can’t take care of themselves. Republicans philosophically believe that government intervenes should be controlled because of individuals prosperity but government should only step in when society is out of control. Democrats believe that the government should be responsible for each individual but each person will end up handing over some of their rights or be treated of lower rank. Democrats have been working on centralization of power in Washington D.C.. Libertarians are known for maximum freedom to the people and less government involved. These political parties deal with many issues and they address the issues differently.

This health care reform will not discriminate for pre-existing conditions. This health care reform will give Americans opportunity to have affordable insurance. On the other hand, Republicans battle against the affordable care act. Republicans focus in a patient-centered health care system through free markets, which is competitive and brings down healthcare cost. Republicans believe that if government takes control of healthcare it will cut down efficiency and standard of care.
Migrationpolicy.org states that, “nearly 41 million immigrants lived in the United States in 2012”. Immigration has been a controversial issue for political debates throughout many years. The Republican Party believes that laws on immigrants who enter the United States illegally should be enforced. Republicans value
