There are many reasons that the Russian Revolution occurred. The main three reasons were political, economical, and social. The political reason for the revolution is mainly the government’s fault. They produced to many new harsh laws for the citizens, mainly the peasants, to follow. The economic reason is mainly to do with land. The ownership of land became a huge conflict all throughout Russia, so that was a huge contribute to the revolution. The last major reason for the Russian Revolution was a social reason. So many of the people in Russia were unsatisfied with most things such as how they were being governed, the new laws, and the way that they were being treated. The Russian government was cracking down on the citizens. They were coming up with lots of new harsh laws for everyone to follow. For instance, the government was always trying to make the decision of land ownership. They never really let the peasants decide how they wanted their land to be handled, and if they did allow the peasants, they led them into bondage, so the peasants didn’t really get to decide. “In the past, the government decided the land question was for us, but their efforts only led us into bondage…The land question should be resolved now, and we should not put our trust blindly in the political parties.
