According to this Scenario:
In 1979, the Three Mile Island nuclear reactor malfunctioned, releasing radiation into the environment. There were no immediate deaths or injuries resulting from the incident; however, the accident drew much media attention and created concerns in the local area and beyond. This is a major issue and it is very important that this is handled properly and all mouths speak the truth when faced with the media. It is good to remember the media perceives crisis differently than health organizations. “Understanding your local, regional, and national media landscape is important when a crisis erupts.” (Molter and Puff, 2012) There will be several different people asking questions, working at different areas of this investigation and it is very important to continue to work on your duties, and report any unanswered questions to your Emergency Management Office. “Focus on which reporters are the most important to your organization, which ones might need TLC in order to maintain good
working
