If someone walked up to you at this very moment and asked you define time what would you say? Something that lets you know the moon has set, and the sun has risen again, or is it something that lets you know when and where you’ll be in the next hour. Many people would choose the second answer, but I choose to be apart from the crowd my answer would simply be the first one. I’ve never owned a watch nor have I felt the need to. I think a watch is just another way of you back from something great you could do because you constantly feel restraints. Also I believe a watch is just another reminder that your time is slowly ending. My orientation and management of time have strayed from side to side but never too far off where it’s always been, I simple believe that time is something that should just simple guide you through like but never hold you back.
As I look forwards and backwards I see the many hurdles I have crossed also all the good times that have come my way. As I sit back and look I see the eyes of babies and then I turn and see the eyes of grandparents and just how quickly time is moving, and how nobody understands how quickly it can all end. Everybody says there’s not time like today and I honestly believe that as I see the wrinkles and the age in the eyes of grandparents I look at myself inside and out and realize I never want to lose my youth just because of age, and the older generations have taught be a lot about that. I also believe that is what has taught be a lot about time and how no matter how quickly you rush through life, time is always going to be the same and is always constantly going to be moving no matter what you’re doing so why rush just enjoy what you have.
