Have you ever met a person in your life and never knew at that moment that you would owe that person for most of the success that you have today, well I have. Most people’s influence on their personality or attitude towards life comes from a family member. That might be true for most cases, but it’s quite the opposite in mine.
I was the kid who had nothing in common with his family and always asked himself do I belong here? I really had a hard time figuring out what type of a person I was, until my family and I moved to a small town called Debrezet, not far from the capital. I mostly spent my days sitting at home, until one day my mom asked me to buy groceries from a small shop located just around the corner from where I lived. That’s where I met an old man who would help shape who I am today.
I have lived in Debrezet for two years since we moved, but never knew this place existed. I was so anxious on why I never knew about this place so, I started making up excuses just to go and visit the place. After a while the shop owner Mr. Akram noticed and offered me my first job as a shop keeper. I was fourteen at the time so I wasn’t sure because, responsibility meant cleaning my room and doing my homework; was I ready to take on more? My mind raced trying to figure out what to do so I decided to ask Mr. Akram for advice. Talking to him made me release that we had a lot in common. He told me that he went through the same situation, which I’m was going through, and how not confronting his fears and accepting who he was made him the person that he is today.
