As a kid I was always into school, and I liked learning new things. My parents always told me if I wanted to be something in life I would have to get an education, and to work hard in life for what I wanted. I took that in consideration, and that became my motivation to strive for my success. Since then I stayed focus in school and did my best to get good grades. I use to be easily distracted by things that made me procrastinate and sidetrack me from what I was suppose to do. I would always do my work at later times, or even not do it at all because I would become lazy. My grades would start to decline, and it made people become disappointed with me, and in the decisions that I made. I didn’t like the feeling of people being disappointed so I started to get back on track because I remember what my parents told me as a child and it made me determined to do better, and to have a better mindset as an individual. What I learned about myself from this experience was that if I wanted better for myself I would have to start doing what I use to. I also learned that all my distractions could be focused on at a later time, and , and that there is a time and place for everything. This is important to me because it really changed me as person and my perspective on life, and that you have to work hard for what you want.
