Computer Concepts and Applications-GS July 2015 Final Project
You have been hired by a medium size (approximately 200 employees) widget manufacturing company to do a complete evaluation of their computer needs and make recommendations to them about an information system to support their business. Currently several of their support departments are using manual processes and they wish to automate their accounting and human resources business processes. They also want to harness the power of the Internet in their business.
Making Your Company Greater Through Technology
As we head into the future, it important for any business organization to be prepared. The evolution of business technologically is rapid, and it’s important to Hardware When choosing the right hardware for this company, it wasn’t too difficult. With the Apple OS X Server operating system, it only makes sense to stay in the Apple family and go for their hardware. Apple hardware offers distinct advantages over its PC counterparts and it’s most definitely worth the cost. For example, when it comes to purchasing laptops for your business, the Apple MacBook Pro with retinal display couldn’t be a better choice. These laptops would be great for personnel on the go who need to take the business with them around the world. With the ability to run Windows as well as Apple’s own OS, the MacBook provides operating system flexibility alongside a solid hardware design and exceptional customer support. The starting price of $1299 may seem hefty for this machine, but it’s important to note that you can also purchase them refurbished for cheaper. For in-office setup, I recommend the Apple iMac with retinal display. The iMac is an all-in-one desktop that combines the computer with a built-in monitor and speakers. It has everything an employee would need in one package. It is a powerful Intel Core processor and up to 3TB of Fusion Drive that combines a high-capacity hard drive with high-performance flash storage for faster application launches and quicker file access. The iMac is also Wi-Fi and Bluetooth accessible for fast wireless performance. The iMac starts at $1899, but like the MacBook, can be purchased

(b) The optimal solution is fractional, since x2 = 5/2 and x3 = 7/2. From the second row of the optimal tableau, we get 1 1 5 x2 + x3 + x4 = 6 6 2 and the corresponding Gomory cut is of the form x2 + 1 5 1 x3 + x4 ≤ 6 6 2 (2) After rounding, the final cut (2) is of the form x2 ≤ 2. 9.3 The Caterer Problem Course book Exercise 7.1 A catering company must provide a client ri tablecloths on each N consecutive days. carry bit) From this we can see that only bit 3 produces a carry. Due to this the final answer is obtained in the first iteration. For the second input, 0xD16 + 0xB16, the output (fig. 4.2) is also the correct result as expected. 7 Figure 4.2 – Output waveform of 4-bit adder VHDL code for 0xD16 + 0xB16 = 0x18 Due to the reduced propagation delays, the output is now obtained after 75 ns. For the final input, 0110B + 0111B, a similar situation to the first input occurs. Figure 4.3 –…
behaviors. Surveys were conducted in schools, child care programs, and afterschool programs to track changes in policies and environments.
