Executive summary
The report aims to solve the problems related to personnel hiring when entering the North American and the South American (i.e. Brazil) markets. It is important to study this because it lays the foundation for the organisation’s success in these new markets. A thorough study of the leadership traits and different leadership styles was done from the ample research done in the past by various researchers. In this report, various leadership qualities of a successful manager in terms of skills, experiences and competencies are described which are most important and must be present in the manager to effectively lead the organisation to achieve its goals. Then it also considers the importance of culture and the issues related with it which must be taken care of when dealing with the international team. On the basis of study of cultural issues, the report describes the leadership style for both areas and whether to hire a local manager or to relocate managers from the organisation. Lastly, the report suggests how the organisation should proceed keeping in mind all the factors being studied.
