In 2009 all the talk was about how we would more than likely be getting a president who was African American. Barrack Hussein Obama was his name. In January 2009 he was inaugurated as the 44th and current president of the United States. He was the first African American president to be elected in U.S history. I remember everyone saying that there is going to be a lot of change in the nation; however all I hear now in my area is how Obama wrecked the coal industry and put so many people out of work everywhere. Personally I don’t think there was much change at all.
So clearly I remember May 2, 2011.The look on my mom’s face as they officially announced that the most wanted person by America because of his plan behind the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. On that day American navy seals stormed his compound in Pakistan and shot him dead. This group of soldiers was known as “Seal team 6”. For years they had searched for Osama with no luck. This was a great day for American people. On May 6th Al’Queda confirmed Bin Ladens death. Troops sank his body in the sea and never released any DNA or pictures.
Recently on April 15th, 2013 as the Boston marathon was happening two brothers, Dzhokhar and Temerlan Tsaraev had set up a plan, that plan being to bomb the finish line as runners would be crossing.
