Assignment 6 Instructional Techniques

As I sit and gather my thought to compose this response I would like to interject this thought. I have been a instructional system designer/ instructor for sixteen years. One of the factors in design is choosing the method of instruction. As this decision is made to allow the information being presented in the simplest method and allow the student to gain the most from that information. But when in the teaching environment the instructor should always use the method stated but always remain flexible and use the different techniques to ensure the student is get all they can from the class being taught. Now as the lesson plan I submitted in lesson three the preferred method of instruction for the class would be Demonstration because it is an instructional strategy designed to show the step-by-step process involved in a task. But as I stated above your class will dictate how it need to be completed. You may want to use Team teaching because this strategy involves two or more teachers working together in the same classroom. Allowing for more one on one or smaller group learning. Individualized instruction or Tutoring would also be a good method to act as what I call pretesting feedback this would not only allow the instructor to gain information on the student ability one on one but allow the teacher/tutor to have input on the weakness of the
