The American Dream
Today, many people immigrate to the United States of America in search of the American Dream; strength, protection, and prosperity/success in life that they have always dreamt of. There are plenty of other main topics that describe how money represents part of the American Dream. Strength, protection, and prosperity/success all describe how wealth is part of American Dream, and how the people had to achieve it here in the U.S. and not in their homeland.
On the American dollar there is an eagle. That eagle represents strength, predator, and king. Of those three things that it represents, I think that strength serves as the best way to show how money can show for in the American Dream. Having strength in this country means that even though we are in debt, we still have enough strength to strive in order to get the money that us people need to survive. Money plays a huge role in the American Dream, and that causes people to want to come here and try to make more of it. Having people come here and make their own money and striving to get where they have always dreamt. Money causes strength for our country because it makes everyone more independent and makes more people want to come and experience it for on their own. Money represents strength, which represents the American Dream, but protection plays a role in it as well.
Part of the American Dream is to have protection. Money pays for whatever you’re living in, in order to protect you. Protection is one of the main reasons why people leave their homeland and come to the U.S.A., because we provide safety. When the immigrants come to America they are looking for jobs so that they can get money in order for them to buy the house, apartment, condo, etc. Being able to sleep throughout the night without feeling that you are not safe makes the people want to stay here and work harder so that they can achieve that goal that they have always dreamt of. But the only way the people can attain this goal is by staying in America and working for the money that theirs jobs pay to them. This is why protection represents money in the American Dream, but prosperity/success were also contributing.
In the U.S. prosperity/success are a huge part in how money represents the American Dream. Success makes people want to move even farther into what they are doing and make more money. Money plays a large factor on how much success people have because then it
