As a student, test taking is just a way of life. In my 13 year old existence, I believe one

of my greatest achievements involved a test.
I walked into the eerie room; it was frigid and almost unoccupied. Of the few people in this classroom; I appeared to be the youngest. I felt as if everyone in the room was staring at me; but I knew those were just my nerves getting the best of me.
“Are you here to take the SAT’s?” A rather warm voice questioned.
“Yes,” I said with confidence, “I am.”
“Please take a seat.”
As I sat in the uncomfortable chair, the teacher droned on incessantly about the rules and regulations; I felt in over in my head.
I snapped back to reality, when the teacher began passing out the assessment.
I was given the opportunity in the middle of the year to take the SAT’s with a group of my peers. Although, we were to study daily; I felt as if no amount of studying could prepare me for the test that lied before me.
As the clock ticked; I felt as if time was moving faster and faster. I looked at the work in front of me as a bead of sweat trickled down my face. “Questions, Questions!” From multiple choice, to short open ended, I felt like the questions wouldn’t cease. It was 2 hours of agony.
I was expected to cover so many topics in so little time.
