The design argument tries to prove the existence of a higher being by drawing an analogy between the universe and a motor or mechanism of some sort. Though seeming possible initially, some dwelling into the subject shows the analogy as false. There is certainly order in the universe, just as in a machine, but it is a different sort of order, and doesn't require a designer.
