Abortion as sensitive social and moral issue has been much discussed and explored from different viewpoints. It is a highly controversial phenomenon which concerns basic human rights, the right for life and the right of the woman to make her own life decisions. This condition may lead to misunderstandings among people, causing major disagreements among them. It means not all people agree that non-medic reason based abortion is wrong either from the point of view of the law or the human rights. My view on abortion is that it should not be allowed, because it is the murdering of a person, although the person might not be fully developed, unless the child is created because of rape or incest.

There are many points of view toward abortion but the only two fine distinctions are "pro-choice" and "pro-life". A pro-choice individual would feel that the decision to abort a pregnancy is that of the mothers and the state has no right to interfere. A pro-life individual would hold that from the moment of conception, the embryo or fetus is alive. This life imposes on us a moral obligation to preserve it and that abortion is tantamount to murder. There is third viewpoint to this debate, which is the numbers of abortions is so big that we shouldn’t pass a law against it that cannot be enforced and create disrespect for the law if it were to passed. Women with incomes fewer than eleven thousand are over three times more likely to abort than those with incomes above twenty-five thousand. Unmarried women are four to five times more likely to abort than married and the abortion rate has doubled for 18 and 19 year olds. Recently the U.S. rate dropped 6 percent overall but the rate of abortion among girls younger than 15 jumped 18 percent.
