Worldview Writing Assignment Part 1

What is a worldview?
I believe a worldview is someone’s outlook and perception on life. It is how they see the world around them and how they let it influence them. I strongly believe that the way a person chooses to live their life reflects their very view on the world and how they see life. (Word Count 52)

What is my worldview?
I live my life with a Christ-centered worldview. I am extremely careful when making decision because I want to live up to biblical standards. I no longer live in a secular mindset (thank you Jesus) and try and see the world how Christ would. I believe the bible is the inspired word of God, therefore I try to live my life according to it in a way that will be pleasing to God. You can have a biblical worldview but what really matters is if your life is reflecting what you claim to be true in the word of God and that is my motivation to push forward and trust in God in everything I do. Why is “worldview” important?
I believe worldview is important because if you don’t have worldview what do you have? Our worldview shapes the way we think and act and if we don’t have a specific worldview then what is causing us to make the decisions we make or live life in a specific way.
